Salomon Ski Running - A new competition every season!

The first permanent ski running course with fixed, contactless time measurement. The route covers an altitude of around 640 metres over a distance of more than 5 km.

The Salomon Ski Running course is as simple as this:

1) Register at the valley stationDisentis and collect your thumb ID for contact-free time measurement.

2) You run at your own speed from S. Catrina to Caischavedra and register the times for each section using the contactless time measurement.

3) Return the thumb ID to the valley station. Your time is printed out and the rankings for the season are updated at www.skirunning.ch.

At the end of the season an attractive prize is available, sponsored by Salomon, for the most active runners and the fastest time. With the user's own ski ticket the facilities can be used free of charge (for a CHF 10 locker) and at your own risk.

Caution!

Use is at your own risk. Adequate equipment incl. an avalanche transceiver, avalanche shovel and probe are mandatory. The track is always closed in case of fresh snow as well as in the event of a considerable, great and very great danger of avalanches! Please note the information at the start and on the internet. Because of the protected wildlife zones it is forbidden to leave the ski running course in the forest!
